Happy Monday, everyone! As I’m sure you know, we had a pretty crazy week and weekend here in Boston. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims, and my undying gratitude goes out to all of the law enforcement officers who kept us safe.
I hope that this post can bring a little bit of happiness to your day! The weather is still going back and forth between cool and warm, so today’s outfit is another way that I’ve been dressing for the seasonal transition. I don’t know if it’s become apparent yet, but I love pants. All kinds — high-waisted skinnies, patterned pants, tailored trousers, wide-legs, everything! I’ve fallen in love with boyfriend silhouettes, in particular, because I’m such a tomboy and I feel like they allow me to perfectly express my style, which I’d describe as “menswear-inspired-gone-sassy.” To celebrate the fact that it is actually spring now, I brought out these crisp, white jeans in a slouchy silhouette, threw on some pumps, and added a slick of my new favorite lippie (I’m dying for the orangey-red perfection of this shade). How are you dressing for the winter-spring transition?

On today’s song: I have a soft spot in my heart for Brandy’s “Never Say Never” album. I think she has an incredibly underrated voice and this album, which is my favorite of hers, stays in my musical rotation. Enjoy your day, loves! xoxo
