Hi guys! 🙂 Thank you all so much for all of the support you’ve shown me and the blog! 🙂 All of the feedback means so much to me and I’m incredibly grateful that so many of you have expressed a desire to see more! Well, as many of you know, I’m in my senior year of undergraduate study and I’m writing a thesis, so I can’t really do more than one outfit post per week—not at the moment, at least. 😉 So, I’ve decided to add a monthly feature to the blog: Wish Lists! Now, let’s be real—I’m on a student’s budget, which means that I can’t afford to go out and splurge like a crazy person. Nevertheless, I love to be inspired by my favorite stores’ new offerings and some things are just so good that I need to save up for ’em (or wait for them to go on sale ;)). I hope you enjoy this month’s picks!
1. Velveteen Jacket with Zip, Zara $159 – Next to shoes, outerwear is one of my favorite categories of clothing. Army-inspired jackets never seem to go out of style and, with a bit of moto-influence, as well, this jacket would be a major player in my wardrobe.
2. Dress, H&M $34.95 – Funnily enough, I still don’t have an LBD (little black dress) in my wardrobe. This is mostly because I don’t want to buy one just to say that I have one. I need to be drawn to a black dress simply because I like it—that way, I know that it’ll get a lot of rotation. At an astonishingly low price, this one from H&M might just fit the bill. 😉 I love the small, sheer panel up top and the peplum silhouette is so flattering that I’d wear this long after the trend goes away.
3. Loann Pump, Aldo $130 – The holiday season is quickly approaching, which means that embellishment will soon be the name of the game. I mean, look at this shoe. I kind of need it in my life.
4. 3.1 Philip Lim Pashli Satchel, Barneys $895 – Yeah….in my dreams. But, while I’m dreaming, just indulge me for a bit. Putting aside the fact that I won’t be able to afford this bag for a few more years, I’ve been in love with this satchel for a year already, which makes me confident that when I’m finally ready (and able) to take the plunge, it’ll be a real investment. This shade of forest green is one of those great it’s-a-color-but-it’s-also-a-neutral shades, so it can really be a workhorse bag for me. And that gold hardware? Just stop. This bag is beautiful. And it will be mine. 😉
